International education: the national imperatives

The United States Department of States recently announced that study abroad is a “national imperative”, vital to the country’s future national security and economic prosperity.

New Zealand is targeting growing its international education industry – receiving more international students, delivering more education services internationally, and making the best possible use of international education expertise to foster wider global connections, build skills and grow research capability.

Hear from the Chief Executive of Education New Zealand, the government agency tasked with growing international education, about how these national imperatives are expanding New Zealand’s education activity in the United States, and an introduction to New Zealand’s best kept secret; our growing international education industry.

Venue: Four Seasons Restaurant at AUT University, Level 2, WH Building  Corner of Mayoral Drive and Wellesley Street East, Auckland
