The panel will be talking about success, innovation, digital disruption, challenges facing business, leadership and other key topics.   


Panelists:
Jennifer Sepull, Chief Digital Officer, Air New Zealand. 

Jennifer has over 25 years of leadership experience as a CEO, CIO, Chief Digital Officer, COO, VP of Sales, VP of Client Services, and a Consulting Partner for a Fortune-200 companies. Jennifer has experience building new start-ups, leading large global teams, and building e-Commerce/ Omni-channel digital platforms. She has extensive industry knowledge in retail, consumer products, automotive, high tech, medical, financial services, and manufacturing.

Candace Kinser, Corporate Governance & Technology Advisor - Director of ERoad, Livestock Improvement Corp, WEL Networks, Ultrafast Fibre, Regional Facilities.  NZTE Beachhead Advisor and Chair of Advisory Board of Superb Herb Company.

Candace Kinser is originally from Austin, Texas but has called NZ home for 22 years. She has held a number of executive roles in the biotech, technology and financial sectors including over 15 years of experience as a CEO and Board Director on private, Crown, Australian and listed boards. In 2012, when she was the CEO of NZTech, she was behind the creation of NZTechWeek, and founded NZTech Women. Prior to that, she was the CEO of award winning genetics software startup, Biomatters where she grew the company from three staff at the University of Auckland to a leading global genetics software company. Biomatters was sold in 2019 to a US software company.

Candace is currently on the board of NZX listed company EROAD, Livestock Improvement Corporation (LIC), Auckland Council’s Regional Facilities board, WEL Networks (Waikato Electric), UltraFast Fibre, the National Cancer Society, is an NZTE Beachheads Advisor and is an advisor to the University of Auckland Return on Science research commercialisation program.  She has been on the boards of Crown entity QV, Talent International recruitment company, MacCashins Brewing, the NZ Health IT Cluster, NZBIO and with family owned business horticulture business, Superb Herb. She recently served as the NZ advisor for Palo Alto based data analytics company, Palantir.  Candace’s driving passion is leveraging growth-focused, innovative science and technology companies to succeed globally.  

Candace has twice been a finalist in the Westpac Women of Influence Awards for the Board & Management category, was the recipient of the National Leadership Award for the 2017 AUT Business Awards, has been acknowledged by the United Nations for contributions to science as CEO of Biomatters, and is a regular speaker at conferences on the topics of technology innovation, governance, the empowerment of women and resulting business growth. 

Misti Landtroop, Country Manager, Palo Alto Networks - the world’s cybersecurity leader. A proud dual citizen of New Zealand and the United States, Misti has spent nearly 20 years in senior leadership roles at both Fortune 100 companies and early stage start-up organisations. This includes ten years at Microsoft where she rose to the role of Chief of Staff for Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Group based in Washington, and then moved to New Zealand as Microsoft’s Director, Small and Midmarket Solutions and Partners. She was Managing Director at Pitney Bowes NZ and Head of New Markets at Latipay. She has also led a successful NZ based consultancy firm providing strategic, leadership and governance advisory services for several NZ businesses.
