Speaker Biographies
Div Pillay, CEO, MindTribes
Div Pillay is the CEO of MindTribes & Co-Founder of Culturally Diverse Women & Workforces. Both businesses work to advise and change manage inclusion roadmaps for intersectional diversity across race, culture, generations and gender. They primarily hold boards and senior executives accountable for sustainable D&I change. Div has a strong social footprint – globally and locally - 10% of MindTribes revenue goes to empower girls in developing countries through Plan International and she is on the Board of STREAT in Victoria, Australia, supporting homeless youth (25% of whom are migrants, refugees and asylum seekers). She is also National Chair of D&I committees at the American Chamber of Commerce. Div is an award-winning business leader, named as one of the 100 Women of Influence in Australia, a Westpac 200 Businesses of Tomorrow Winner, Monash University Alumni Excellence Award Winner, Telstra Business Award Finalist and Tech Diversity Award Finalist. She is also a State, Telstra Business Women’s Award (AU), Judge, 2020.
Martin Creighan, Managing Director and Vice President, AT&T Australia and New Zealand
Martin is Managing Director and Vice President for AT&T’s business in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). With a career at AT&T that began in 2004, Martin leads AT&T’s local business with a focus on business and technology Leadership, development of regional sales and marketing strategy, management of financial and operations support teams and a passion for people, culture and skills development.
In Martin’s previous role as Director of Sales he was responsible for leading a team on revenue growth, growing market share and the development of customer proposals and contracting offers for AT&T’s multi-national customers. Prior to AT&T, Martin started his career in the US Navy where he spent over 9 years as an Operations Specialist and was responsible for building and project managing simulated warfare environments. Since then he has held Sales, Marketingand Business Management roles with Radware, SecureNet, Baltimore Technologies and Viasoft.
Martin is actively involved in community outreach programs and has participated in the St Vinnies - CEO Sleep out, The Smith Family iTrack Mentoring Program as well as recently acting as a mentor to disadvantaged teens through Father Chris Riley’s Youth Off the Street’s program. He is also passionately involved in teaching youth sports including Basketball and Rugby in Sydney’s South East.
Martin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from National University, USA and is a Certified Master Training Specialist.
LeBaron Meyers, President and Chief Business Officer, #NotMe
M. LeBaron Meyers is a connector, an innovative business development executive and a proponent of raising our collective emotional intelligence to best solve today’s greatest challenges. As president and chief business officer of #NotMe, she's passionate about creating and sharing practical, scalable solutions that protect and empower employees and employers to safely and justly do their best work.
LeBaron's diverse background includes seven years in the corporate world of investment management, a year on the radio as a morning show host, a six-month sabbatical studying yoga in Southeast Asia, and eight years in the startup landscape of digital media and tech.
Dr Sydney Savion, General Manager - Learning, Air New Zealand
As General Manager, Learning for Air New Zealand Dr. Sydney Savion is instrumental in shaping an iconic workforce and workplace and enhancing its learning, development and measurement strategies in alignment with talent development and business goals. Throughout her dynamic career she has created and executed strategies for fostering an innovative learning culture and a high-impact learning organization.
Passionate about her research interests, she stands at the forefront of translating growing behavioral and neuroscience findings that link how people learn and learning interventions. She has spent the past decade evangelizing the rich possibilities that behavioral and neuroscience research can provide to corporate education programs.
Dr. Savion holds a research-based Doctorate of Education in Human and Organizational Learning from George Washington University, Washington, D.C. She previously served in a range of corporate education roles at Dell Technologies, as a learning practitioner with Booz Allen Hamilton, retired US Air Force commissioned officer and has 20+ years of experience as a leader, practitioner and researcher in the learning and performance field. She is a noted author with articles featured in the Chief Learning Officer Magazine, AI Trends, American Management Association Magazine, Journal of Information and Knowledge Management Systems and Forbes. Dr. Savion is a fellow of the Center for the Study of Learning, George Washington University, a valued speaker on the application of behavioral and neuroscience research to learning processes and has presented at Harvard University and Columbia University.
