2023 OSAC New Zealand Country Chapter Relaunch
February 23, 2023
Westpac Bank, Auckland CBD, New Zealand
The OSAC New Zealand Chapter is excited to announce its 2023 country chapter relaunch with a Security Symposium, featuring speakers on Cyber Security and A.I. driven threat monitoring.
The first in-person meeting for New Zealand in years is graciously being hosted by Westpac Bank in downtown Auckland.
OSAC is the premiere global partnership between the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Diplomatic Security and private companies, providing both an online platform for public-private security and safety information sharing and a global network of over 150 Country Chapters for the protection of U.S. Citizens and interests overseas.
2:30 PM – 5:00 PM; networking from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Experts from Dataminr, the U.S. Secret Service, and the Bureau of Diplomatic Security Directorate of Cyber and Technology Security will speak on Artificial Intelligence-driven online threat identification and monitoring, Cyber fraud threats, breaches, and investigations, and cybersecurity. The Symposium will conclude with a networking reception overlooking the scenic Auckland harbour from the top floor.
Joining OSAC is not a prerequisite to attending the meeting, although free membership invites participants to an ongoing collaboration and access to a suite of open-source security and threat reports.
