As former Managing Director for Oracle Women’s Leadership (OWL), Lise led OWL’s growth from 13 communities to over 50 local communities and 90+ community leaders worldwide, expanding to emerging markets in Asia and Japan as well as EMEA and LAD. OWL now touches thousands of employees around the world with a variety of opportunities to connect, learn, lead and give back. Before leading the OWL initiative, Lise guided the development of Oracle’s Diversity and Inclusion strategy and programs to attract and retain a diverse workforce and create an environment where all employees can perform at their best.
Most recently, Lise is the Co Founder, GenderAllies, GenderAllies a collaborative of inclusion professionals who stand for women and men in full partnership in organizations and in our communities. Creating inclusive cultures with full partnership between women and men to solve the real business challenges and seize the clear opportunities for the future workplace.
As a strategic business partner, GenderAllies is committed to scalable, sustainable, and measurable solutions to drive fundamental cultural change for Fortune 500 companies. In addition to our strategic consulting, our offerings include a diagnostic tool, transformative workshops, and sustainability measures that include “ALL IN groups”.
Prior to GenderAllies, Lise has held significant roles in Human Resources and Diversity/Inclusion with Fortune 500 technology and bio-tech companies (Genentech, EMC Corp, Synopsys, Lucent and LSI Logic) designing and delivering specialized programs and services. Lise’s expertise includes partnering with executive leadership, managing the talent lifecycle, diversity and inclusion strategies and initiatives, vendor relations and community outreach efforts.
Lise has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors including the 2007 YWCA TWIN Award for Leadership in D&I and was most recently named one of Silicon Valley Business Journal’s 100 Women of Influence for 2013.
Born in Berkeley, CA and a fifth generation Californian, Lise grew up in Lafayette, CA and attended St Mary’s College and Juilliard, School of Dance. Lise is happily married and has two daughters, emerging leaders, Alexandra and Anastasia.
