Ross relocated to Toronto in 1998 to establish a national professional services consultancy. He has experience overcoming the challenges that face businesses entering Canadian markets and is well positioned to assist New Zealand companies to conduct business successfully in Canada.
Ross is a board member of Kia Ora Canada.
Ross will speak about the opportunity for New Zealand companies in Eastern Canada, particularly Ontario and the Greater Toronto Area, and the roles Connectionz can perform to facilitate our clients' entry and development in this market.
Toronto-based Connectionz, complements the resources and activities of The New Zealand High Commission, based in Ottawa, and New Zealand Trade & Enterprise, based in Vancouver.
Connectionz believes Canada is a substantial growth opportunity for New Zealand companies but many potential exporters understand neither the scale of the opportunities nor the challenges of doing business here. Accordingly they are ill-prepared and, typically, either fail or take longer than necessary to achieve success.
Experience proves the probability of early and ongoing success is significantly enhanced by effective, local representation. We are confident the “in-market” resources Connectionz provides will facilitate the entry, development and growth of New Zealand exports to Canada, particularly Eastern Canada.
Connectionz’ Principals are long-term residents of Canada. We understand the markets and the challenges of doing business here. Our purpose is to raise awareness of the opportunities that exist and to help medium size New Zealand companies efficiently and cost-effectively achieve success in Canadian markets.
