Ada Echetebu is an experienced US commercial law, US business immigration, and US entertainment law attorney based in Auckland, New Zealand. With a strong background in commercial litigation and transactions, and experience as outside general corporate counsel, Ms. Echetebu has earned a reputation with both clients and peers, as a tough, fair and creative negotiator and strategist. She is also an experienced public speaker and corporate communications consultant.
Ada sits on the AmCham NZ Board of Directors and is the Chair of AmCham NZ's first-ever Future Committee which is dedicated to fostering diversity in the organization and ensuring the enduring future of the organization.
Bar Qualifications: The State of Texas, USA and the Federal District Courts of the United States.
Education: Master of Laws (LL.M. Hons) in International Commercial Law (University of Auckland Faculty of Law, New Zealand,; Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D., Tulane University Law School, USA); Bachelor of Arts (Bryn Mawr College, USA).
